They did it again Wednesday night and beat Mission Prep 79-58 at Righetti's Warrrior Gym for their 19th consecutive PAC 8 League win, dating back to 2016, under third-year coach Desiree Hitch. Mission Prep saddled Righetti with its last league loss before the streak started.

Big third quarter lifts Righetti past Arroyo Grande

Righetti and Arroyo Grande were tied at 25-all in this PAC 8 League girls basketball opener at Arroyo Grande's James Gymnasium Wednesday night.
Then the visitors out-scored the home team 25-8 in the third quarter, and the Warriors (10-1, 1-0) were on their way to their 10th straight win. The defending PAC 8 champs beat the Eagles 73-62.

With a relentless defense and a strong performance from the younger Warriors, RHS rolled past East Bakersfield 77-34 on Friday at RHS in the Harold Olivera Tournament.

Righetti girls basketball coach Desiree Hitch said Saturday that her team got what it wanted out of the tournament it co-hosted.
Besides finally getting a lot of games in, "I thought the girls got a little better with every game," Hitch said after her team defeated smaller and over-matched Nipomo 67-27. Righetti beat Hanford Sierra Pacific 60-54 earlier in the day.

THOUSAND OAKS — The first appearance for a Righetti girls basketball team in the CIF State Playoffs was a success Wednesday night.
Zane Sheckherd scored 17 points to lead three Warriors in double-figures, and ninth-seeded Righetti defeated No. 8 Thousand Oaks 65-60 at Thousand Oaks High School in the first round of the Division III Southern Regional.

It's also pretty difficult to build an argument against Righetti's Zane Sheckherd.

RIALTO — Righetti's girls basketball team defeated Rialto Carter in the CIF Southern Section Division 2A quarterfinals on Wednesday night.
Ashley Reynoso converted a four-point play at the 3:05 mark of the fourth quarter to put the Warriors ahead for good, and the top-seeded Warriors (24-3) withstood a game effort by the Lions to win this 2A quarterfinal at Carter High School.
